Climate Change Adaptation Grants Program – functional resilience of ports
TLISC is a contributing stakeholder to the RMIT research that is examining the resilience of seaports to a changing climate. This research project has been primarily funded as part of the Climate Change Adaptation Research Grants Program undertaken by the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF). The objective of the research is to better understand the vulnerability of critical seaport infrastructure (structural and functional), and to develop new knowledge and methodologies for enhancing port resilience to future climate change. It is a two year research project and TLISC will have a particular interest in the findings related to workforce planning and skills.
