TLISC Award winner strikes success at Victorian Training Awards

TLISC Award winner

Damien and Emma Power make it their business to have a well-trained, dynamic workforce and once again, the co-owners of Bendigo-based transport company Power’s Country Express are reaping the rewards.

The Powers were named Victorian Small Employer of the Year at the 2014 Victorian Training Awards. The trophy will now sit alongside their 2013 TLISC Award for Excellence and 2012 Australian Freight Industry Award.

Robert Adams, TLISC CEO was at the Awards to congratulate Damien and Emma on their achievement. “To have a Transport and Logistics business recognised in this way is fantastic. Power’s Country Express provides a great example to other employers – measurable returns on their decision to use VET qualifications to skill their workforce.” said Mr Adams.
