Assessment Resources TLI10 Version 1.1 Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure Skill Sets

TLISC has designed and developed assessment resources to support RTOs and industry in the delivery and assessment of TLI Certificate II Rail Skill Sets. The rail industry provided valuable industry expertise for the development and review of the resources. Feedback from industry is positive and greatly appreciated. RTOs are using the resources both as is and incorporating them into their own resources and anticipate having the updated TLI10 Version 2 resources in February 2012.

There are currently 18 skill set assessment resources available on the T&L Resources section of the website.


Training and Assessment Resources for TLI10 Version 2 Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure

The CRC has contracted TLISC to design and develop training materials and assessment resources for 15 units of competency including all core units to support RTOs and industry in the delivery of the Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure. The resources will be developed in collaboration with key industry stakeholders and be AQTF compliant.

Anticipated project completion date is July 2012.


Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) Tow Truck Training Program 2011

The RMS NSW, through the work of the previous regulatory body, the Road Traffic Authority (RTA), engaged TLISC in 2010 to develop four tow truck specific competency units into a training program to improve standards and quality assurance in the industry. TLISC is updating this training program to the TLI10 Training Package. Feedback from the 47 NSW Tow Truck operators who took part in the training resource pilot program has been unanimously positive with measurable improvements in standards and quality assurance of work output. This program will be developed so it can be used nationally.

Anticipated project completion date is March 2012.



Training Program for Aviation - CFI and Grade 1 Flight Instructors - AVI50510 Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructors)

TLISC will design a Flight Instructor training program and arrange delivery of three pilot programs as requested by CASA and GAPAN to provide improved training skills to CFIs (Chief Flying Instructors) and Grade I Instructors.

The program will be based on two units of competency from the AVI50510 Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructors) qualification and contextualised to the Aviation Industry with input from Aviation SMEs.

Anticipated project completion date is September 2012.


Assessment Resources (Warehousing Operations and Logistics) TLI10 Version 1.1 Certificate II, III, IV in TLI10 Training Package

TLISC is funding the development of 100 assessment resources to support RTOs and industry in the delivery of units of competency for the warehousing and logistics qualifications. TLISCs management of the project includes AQTF compliance and industry validation.

50 assessment resources will be available from our website soon.

Anticipated project completion date is May 2012.


Assessment Resources TLI10 Version 2 Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure Skill Sets

This TLISC project is to design and develop new and update existing assessment resources to support RTOs and industry in the delivery and assessment of 24 TLI Rail Skill Sets. The rail industry is actively involved providing valuable industry expertise for the development and review of the resources. The feedback from industry is positive and greatly appreciated. RTOs are using the resources both as is and incorporating them into their own resources and anticipate having the updated TLI10 Version 2 resources.

There are currently 18 skill set assessment resources available on the T&L Resources section of the website.

Anticipated project completion date is February 2012.


Assessment Resources (Driving Operations) TLI10 Version 1.1 Certificate II, III, IV in TLI10 Training Package

TLISC is designing and developing approximately 200 assessment resources to support RTOs in the delivery and assessment of TL10 Driving Operations units of competency. To date there have been over 15,000 downloads since June 2011.

50 assessment resources are currently on the T&L Resources section of the website.

An additional 50 assessment resources will be added shortly.

Anticipated project completion date is December 2011.
