INTEGRATED RATINGS AND LINESPERSONS

Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council › Integrated Ratings and Linespersons

TLISC is aligning the Certificate I in Maritime Operations (Linesperson), Certificate III in Maritime Operations (Integrated Rating) and the Certificate IV in Maritime Operations (Chief Integrated Rating) to the Standards for Training Packages. This will also include a revision of the qualifications to ensure they are compliant with Marine Orders 73 (2014).

Project Overview

The current units of competency and qualifications will be aligned to the Standards for Training Packages and amended to address any issues that have been raised since they were endorsed in 2013. They will also be mapped to the Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) to ensure they comply with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s (AMSA) regulatory requirements.
