TLISC has commenced the development of a qualification for Marina Operations. It is expected that the qualification will be completed by December 2014 and submitted for endorsement in February 2015, before being incorporated in the MAR Training Package.
- Project Overview
- The proposed Marina Operations qualification will address the specific training requirements of marina owners and operators for berthing, mooring, storage and slipway/workshop facilities that are connected to sailing, cruising and general boating. The qualification will be essential in improving the skill level of those working in the industry while providing a level of flexibility that addresses the needs of businesses and individuals.
